Family doctor (GP) care

Medical specialist

You may only apply for examination, lab or diagnostic test if your GP or Mediversal specialist (to whom your GP has sent you) has issued a REFERRAL.

Please enter your data (name, Generali card number, email, phone) AND the SPECIALIZED HEALTH CARE CODE specified in the referral you got from your family doctor (GP) / medical specialist (or you can upload your referral here).

We will book your appointment at the medical specialist and will send you a notification by email (including details about place and time).

If you do not have a referral or do not want to go to the medical specialist care offered by us, you will have to pay the costs of the examination!

After submitting your data, we will try to arrange a medical specialist examination as soon as possible, and we will inform you by email about the place and date. Thank you for your patience!

    You must pay in advance for the care at the Szeged University’s cash desk (Szeged, Tisza Lajos krt. 107.). After that, you need to send the receipt via email, which proves that you have paid it, and attach the medical document and the 2 forms to be filled out.. Our bank account for wire transfers:

    10404601-50526771-84771006, Our IBAN code for SEPA transfers: HU13 1040 4601 5052 6771 8477 1006. Please include your name and SBO care date in the remarks field of the transfer order. If you are eligible, the insurance company will give you a refund later. You must submit the invoice and any medical documents you received to the Mediversal Customer Service.

    Getting refund for the costs of medicine and emergency care

    According to the Generali contract, the cost of medicines shall be paid in the pharmacy where you buy them, while the fee for emergency care shall be paid at the cash desk of the University of Szeged (SZTE).

    You can ask Generali insurance company to refund 50% of medicine costs and 100% of the emergency care fee up to the limit amounts specified in the contract.

    Medicine costs refund procedure

    1. When paying at the pharmacy, please ask for an invoice issued on your name and
      including the following data:

      1. your name
      2. Hungarian home address (specified in your Generali Studium contract)
      3. your Generali Studium card No (5 digits)
    2. At first, print out and fill in the Bank Account Statement attached hereafter with your full personal and contract details, then scan in it. Please indicate in your Bank Account Statement a Hungarian, HUF-based bank account number. Please complete the form with clear, legible block letters.
    3. Mail the completed and signed Bank Account Statement and the invoice(s) of the medicines purchased to the following email address: generali.hu@generali.com

    Emergency care fees refund procedure

    1. If you have paid the emergency care fee at the cash desk of the University of Szeged
      (6725 Szeged, Tisza Lajos krt. 107., Room 124, Business hours: Mo-Fr: 7:00 – 19:00)
      you must have received an invoice for the amount paid.
    2. Please scan in the Outpatient Care Report received during the emergency care the payment refers to.
    3. Fill in the Bank Account Statement attached hereafter with your full personal and contract details, then print it out. Please indicate in your Bank Account Statement a Hungarian, HUF-based bank account number. Please complete the form with clear, legible block letters.
    4. Please mail the completed and signed Bank Account Statement, the scanned Outpatient Care Report, and the original invoice received at the SZTE cash desk to the following email address: generali.hu@generali.com

    After processing and approving the documents, Generali insurance company will refund the
    amount you asked for by wire transfer to the bank account number specified in the contract.
    The transfer will probably be completed within 2 months after your request was approved. You will not be notified separately about this.

    If data reconciliation is required, the Bank will contact you at the contact details provided in the Bank Account Statement.
