The introduction of minimally invasive techniques over the past decade has been a milestone in the development of the surgical profession. The undeniable advantage of this method is that it has changed almost every aspect of surgery, reduced nursing time, and completely eliminated many traditional procedures from clinical practice. The Clinic has played a pioneering role in the introduction and dissemination of minimally invasive surgical techniques in Hungary. We were the first in the country to perform several new types of surgery in the field of general and thoracic surgery, which have since become routine procedures. Almost all types of work performed at the clinic are recognised both nationally and internationally.

“A testfelszíni folyamatok (pl. atheroma, lipoma) ellátása helyi vagy vezetéses érzéstelenítésben, ambuláns körülmények között történik.
A hasüregen belüli elváltozások esetén (pl. epekövesség, lágyéksérv, vastagbél-végbél daganat) a műtétet altatásban, többnyire minimálisan invazív technikával (laparoscopia) végzem, ami lényegesen kisebb megterheléssel jár a betegnek és rövidebb a műtét után felépülési szakasz is.
Patients with proctology complaints undergo complex proctology examinations (detailed patient history, anoscopy, rectoscopy, rectum ultrasound), with therapies ranging from medically assisted treatments to small procedures performed in ambulatory settings (e.g. ringing of internal haemorrhoids, dissection, excision, threading) as well as procedures that can be performed under general anaesthesia (e.g. haemorrhoids, rectal polyps, surgical repair of fistulas).
