His main fields of interest are operative endoscopy (lower and upper gastrointestinal tract, pancreatobiliary – ERCP, cholangioscopy – endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound etc.), inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), diagnostics and treatment of tumours of the gastrointestinal tract (oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, bile ducts).
